Spengler T-bones new upcoming and far more at the moment impressive Canadian Wickens in great anger as he was past for a hundredth time in past 3-4 races on track and takes both of them out of the race and title chase for this year.
Farfus defenetialy a no1 driver in BMW this year. Two seasons in DTM, I expect him to put up a fight to Rocky next year.

Deko thanks for hosting. Thank you and thanks Dom too for broadcasting too. I often enjoyed your casual broadcasts myself after the race. And thanks to Thilo, Stuart and everyone else involved for supporting the series. It goes without saying, I enjoyed the races I had driven.

Congrats to Rony. You sure are a hardcore LFS'er.

Quote from RandomnessInside :Even though I haven't raced much in LFS yet, I have to say I'm soon dying to boredom with the current tracks/cars. Way too much fantasy imo, needs more (real) content.

On contrary I love the fantasy aspect of it. There's no useless rants is this real enough or not. Only thing that needs to be real is the idea that it represents.

And you're right you haven't raced much. You probably haven't found magic so many of us have that makes driving a pleasure here, not content. Give it some time. At first I wasn't exactly 100% straight in love with the game either. But, it sort of grows to you with the time.

The only thing that I think the game so desperately needs is tracks. Yes, there are different layouts to tracks and that's great when people go hotlapping or whatever. But, when you go CG all you see is ky3, as4, ky2, odd we1/r, then again as3 or as11 and only sometimes some s1 track.
Or when you go league, they just make 6 round tour around tracks as if they couldn't figure a way to a proper 10 race season.

There is that feeling when you come to a track. The outlook of it. The flow of it. The sort of racing that is characteristic for that track. These things only slightly change with layouts and this is why we need those tracks. Devs sent out open layouts. However there is only very few of those that are frequently used. And you often can hear from people zomg hate on westhill. Honestly, that track is great. The rhytm it has is very special. But, then agian there is that lack of environment there that doesn't have that special ich about it. This just goes to show how important that aspect of being somewhere in 3d is important, simply over track layout. So, we have at the moment what we have with tracks and finally leagues are doing great job exploring some of unused layouts at last. Only if one day a number of new tracks, maybe one with Italian, other with German, third with Spanish and fourth with French environment just poped out. It would prolong life here so much more.

I know you want this so very badly, you want it right now. Nontheless, you have these 6 tracks that you have at the moment and you need to find pleasure in driving some cars rather then just swapping from one to another as if it was NFS or GT5 and you'll suddenly find a whole new world out there.

Quote from BlueFlame :Out of teh current bunch I'm pretty sure he still holds the most lap records.

Basically he would be chasing Vettel down in every race (and in most cases : he'd catch Seb) having been past whoever was in his way already after he had his ice-cream.

They made a great joke about my NDR comeback at SO City and how I was pointing the same way as I did when the incident occurred. Had a great laugh hearing that.

Quote from BlueFlame :but in all honesty, with the massive rules overhaul next year

It's engine change. RedBull will eventually find a way around that exhaust pipe again.

By if I meant they most likely will fail as all this years (Ferrari ) and yea if you can't beat them, join them.

But MBrundle said nicely it's weird this goes all public, when it all can be done outside the race weekend. This why I'm thinking it surely is also to make Ferrari pull into 7th gear.

@Alonso to RedBull news : It's probably Fernando just sending ducks Ferrari's way to make them work their lazy Italian asses off during this summer break for rest of the season. But, I guess if this things don't go well at Ferrari it might get serious. Therefor, not expecting RedBull to announce anything yet in months.

Quote from BlueFlame :Is that why Massa always looks like he's about to cry?

It's because Ferrari has banned him from candies. He was getting too fat apparently.

Quote from BlueFlame :it's like telling kids not to touch the sweets and then put them in a bowl on the table..

Exactly why they should allow baby's to have candies. I'm sure Felipe baby would be delighted.

@Vettel topic : I can recall Webber rounding him in particular hairpin in China last year. Oh and of course Hamilton DRSing him in America.

Quote from amp88 :I'm not saying everyone who leaves the track at any time should be penalised; just that the rules should be consistently applied.

Remember also on the first lap Massa exited the track then got back up the inside of Rosberg in T5. Honestly, they should start considering curb a part of the track. Days when curbs were too high and too dodgy to be part of track are long gone just as most of sandtraps are. Most curbs are as flat as the track hence they should be considered a part of track. Astraterfe (yea I dno how to spell dat) is then extra.

Quote from RandomnessInside :Iceman the best. Finishing in front of Vettel regardless of a worse starting position and being unable to win.

Icecream finished P2 5/10 races, aka P2 in WDC points too. Time to step it up is coming sooner rather than later. Kimi's fav course is coming up.
